I have been trying to recover this story for some time now because I read it at a specific point in my life, and it brought a smile to my face. This little comrade of mine has to be represented in my blog.


"Fort Sumner, New Mexico- A mouse set fire to and destroyed the home of Luciano Mares. Mares found the mouse in his home and decided to kill it by throwing it into the pile of burning leaves in his yard. The mouse, in all its blazing glory, ran back to the house, stood beneath a window, and set it on fire. Flames spread from there throughout the house, completely destroying the home and everything inside, nobody was harmed"

What a love story. Mice have a lot to teach us children...
